FOR ALL PLACES ACCOMMODATION SUPPORTING ESSENTIAL SERVICES PERSONAL
Any accommodation establishment that offers accommodation for Essential Services Personal for prices listed up to R100 per person per room per night, or offers accommodation under R 200 for 2 people in a room per night, will be liable for a 5% service fee, if you can’t afford to pay this, you can request a further discount in the fees in a private communication with us and we will reduce or forfeit this fee.
The service fee is used to pay bank fees and the staff and others who are promoting this initiative, WIFIXIT Africa will not be taking any of this fee and will sponsor people in Frail Care accommodation.
Over the C-19 lockdown period, we will rely on an honored payment scheme,
If the supplier is paid directly, they agree to pay us our commission 30 days after the ESP guests have left or after the Coronavirus Lockdown period has been lifted.
A 10% Service Fee will be charged, for any accommodation that is not a budget offering relating to Covid-19 sponsored products that our initiative is offering, this offering will last for 3 months from the time the lockdown began.
For payment direct customers, suppliers will pay the service fee no later than 30 days after Guest has left.
Please if you can afford it pay these bills timeously this Covid-19 local stay sponsored accommodation offer will be valid until the end of 30 June 2020.

WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION is an internet accommodation booking engine and internet marketing platform for the services industry, hotels, guesthouses, B&B's and self-catering apartment.
As a hotel, guesthouse or B&B you can manage your listing on WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION, while travellers are
able to view and book accommodation on WIFIXIT.AFRICA
WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION will use its best actions to promote southern Africa and the accommodation providers listed with WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION to local clients and clients from all over the world. WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION earns its income from charging a fee for confirmed deals and reservations between guests and suppliers on WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION that that all parties have agree to honour this relationship with prompt payment of referral fees. Suppliers and Establishments also acknowledge that without this fee WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION would not be able to operate or market them or what they have to offer, as a service or at their establishments or locations. Establishments further acknowledge that any client who is introduced via the WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION SAAS system and completes a booking whether on the website or directly with them is will be seen to have been introduced through the work of WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION and a commission/administration fee is due for these bookings.
Sign-up:
There is currently no sign-up cost involved in listing your establishment with us.
Removal from WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION:
Should you wish to have your listing removed from the WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION, we require the reason for
cancelling the listing on a company letterhead signed by the owner/director or manager of the
establishment. WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION reserves the right to remove any establishment for whatever reason
from its website. Should you no longer be listed on WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION you agree to honour all previous reservations you have accepted.
Establishments service level obligations:
You agree to respond to all enquiries received via WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION promptly and at least once a day.
We encourage you to make use of our notification service as an additional notification.
Should you have temporary problems answering your enquires via the internet our reservation
staff are on hand to reply on your behalf.
Should this problem persist for an extended period you agree to notify WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION who may either de-activate your listing until you are able to answer new enquires or will telephonically assist you.
We have found one of the biggest factors in turning enquires into bookings is through swift speedy replies. WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION takes your average response time into account when determining your position in the listings on pages.
You are able to access and make changes to your listing at any time. You agree to regularly update these details to ensure they accurately reflect your establishment.
WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION will not be held responsible for any inaccuracies or discrepancies with this information, or for the inability to access this information.
We encourage a policy of suppliers always actually giving more than what they say they will offer. We have that this sales technique generally results in guest satisfaction being greater and helps to ensure you get long-term repeat business.
Enquiries and booking process:
- Listing: Your establishment is listed on WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION and clients/guests use
WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION to make accommodation enquires at the establishments of their choice.
- Email enquiry: Once a client has submitted an email enquiry for accommodation at your establishment we will notify you of this new enquiry via email and through whatever other sources we can.
- Response and quoting: To read and respond to this enquiry you can respond directly to the email you received or logon to WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION. You will then be able to use our quoting template to respond to the client with pricing, availability and general comments. You are not required to hold these rooms for the client as we operate on a first come first serve basis.
- Finalization: Should a client accept your quote and request a booking, you will be notified of this request which will require you to accept or decline the booking.
However, if you have offered the client a validity period for his quote you will then not be able to decline the booking.
- Payment procedure: We receive payment from the client via credit card or direct deposit. The amount of deposit we take per booking will for the minimum amount to cover the 10% excl vat commission amount, or as what you define as the deposit amount, this is determined by the deposit policy you have chosen to work by with us.
The deposit received is transferred to you less our commission (based on the total amount quoted). The balance owing as well as any additional extras incurred during the stay is to be settled with you directly on arrival or departure. Should you require the balance before arrival from the client this should be stipulated during your prior correspondence with the client and you should take the necessary steps to take the balance directly (Should you request WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION to handle this balance payment, a 5% admin fee will be charged.) Should you require a breakage deposit, this needs to be stipulated during
correspondence with the client and must be settled with you directly. You also agree that this will be refunded directly to the client directly no later than a week after departure.
Price policy
We encourage all our establishments to offer their usual rack rates (standard advertised rates),
as for clients who book directly with the establishment, and not to markup rates to include
WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION’s commission. We believe there are 4 major reasons for this:
1. If the client is charged more when booking through WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION than when booking directly he will more than likely be unhappy with this when he arrives and it will negatively affect their stay. This will result in both negative feeling and referrals to both our website and your establishment.
2. Establishments have not had to pay any advertising costs to appear on WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION as would be the case for other books, websites and organizations. By inflating your price to include our commission you are in essence charging the client for this advertising. Advertising should be a cost borne by the establishment as an operating expense.
3. You will see a reduced number of bookings. You are charging more for your establishment and our clients who compare your quote with other quotes from other establishments in the area will see your quote as comparably more expensive. If this is not the case we would suggest that you up your rate for all reservations and see the effect it has on bookings.
4. Inflating your rates will have a negative effect on your placement on out town pages, this will result in fewer enquires to your establishment.
We believe we are offering a quality service and product to both visitors to WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION
and the establishments listed on WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION. We therefore strongly discourage establishments
from increasing their rates on our website.
Commission payable:
- You agree to pay commission on all bookings made by clients referred to you via WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION,RFP whether the client finalized the booking on WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION or booked directly with you. This includes extensions and return bookings while the client is on the same holiday.
- The minimum commission charged is 15% (this excl VAT, includes credit card charges
and bank fees incurred in receiving deposits and transferring these deposits on).
Commission is based on the total value you quote to a client.
- You agree to allow WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION to deduct this commission from the deposit received
and transfer the remaining balance to you.
- You agree not to attempt to bypass the WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION communication systems and take
enquires directly, for the purpose of avoiding WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION commission. Should a client
request contact details, we happily provide these details in good faith. Should a booking be finalized directly after contact details were released, commission is payable to WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION and the onus is on you to inform us of this booking. Any establishments found guilty of intentionally bypassing the system will be removed from our website.
- Should monies be owed to WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION for commissions due you will endeavour to make transfer to WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION within a reasonable period, failing which WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION reserves the right to subtract the amount due from your next booking.
Should no booking be secured within the next 30 days and no payment received, WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION reserves the right to de-activate your listing until payment is received.
- You acknowledge that WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION charges only a commission for confirmed reservations and without this commission would not be able to operate and market your town and establishment.
Extensions and shortening of bookings:
- Extensions: Should the client stay longer than originally booked, additional commission is due to WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION, as this booking originates from the WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION website. The onus is on you to inform WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION of this extension so that we are able to invoice you for this additional commission.
- Shortening of stay: Should a client shorten their stay we are willing to refund commission upon receiving a copy of the client’s invoice which he/she signed.
Cancellation and Refunds:
- WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION requires a deposit from all customers to secure a reservation.
- In an event of a cancellation, your chosen cancellation policy will apply. Should the client cancel subsequent to placing the booking but prior to WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION receiving the deposit and forwarding it onto yourself, you agree to cancel the booking with no cancellation fee due.
- In event of a cancellation and a refund becoming due to a client, you agree to pay the refund to WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION or the client within 3 working days of cancellation.
- In the event of the customer cancelling due to sickness, or death within the family, WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION encourages a policy of full refund and in these circumstances we will refund our full commission.
- Our commission is non-refundable, please allow for this in your cancellation policy.
Payment of deposits and delays in receiving this deposit
WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION allows its customers to make payment via credit cards, direct deposits or electronically. In certain circumstances we experience delays in receiving this deposit. This may take the form of waiting for a foreign payment to reflect on our bank statement, waiting for a client to make a transfer they have indicated they will be doing or waiting for a cheque to clear. These problems are the same problems you would face if you were dealing with the client directly and you are required to hold these bookings as if the deposit had been received.
Should the customer be required to effect payment and this has not happened within a reasonable period, WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION will make the decision to either cancel the booking or to notify you of the delay and give you the choice of how you would like to proceed – this usually entails holding on further for payment, notifying the client of a deadline for payment or cancelling the booking.
Double Booking:
Email enquiry bookings: A double booking may only result when you have accepted two bookings for the same period; each and every booking is confirmed by yourselves on WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION. Should you have sold a room twice for the same period, and need to cancel with a WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION client you will be responsible for finding a suitable alternative for the client. Any cost to upgrade the client will be for your expense.
Live Availability: WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION interacts with U-gotta calendar to establish availability for a clients chosen period. Should you not be synchronised with U-gotta calendar and a double booking arises it will be your responsibility to find a suitable alternative for the client. Any cost to upgrade the client will be for your expense.
WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION reserves the right to keep their commission for double bookings and repeated double bookings will impact your ranking score on WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION and may also result in your removal from WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION.
Placement in our search results:
WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION uses an internal ranking algorithm to order establishment on the our pages.
This algorithm is designed to provide the best service to our users and results in maximising reservations which benefit the customer, establishments and ourselves.
This ranking score is recalculated and allows for changes made over the previous 24 hours to take effect.
The criteria used in this algorithm include:
- Your average response time taken to reply to enquires
- The quality of your replies
- A ratio of enquiries and bookings you are receiving compared to other establishments in your town.
- The customer feedback from all reviews we have received.
- The percentage commission you have chosen to pay WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION.
For new establishments or establishments wanting to improve their listing we would
encourage you to reply timeously to enquires with a friendly and comprehensive reply. The
number of enquires you receive might be increased by offering a special on RoomsForAfrica
to stimulate enquires and bookings. Alternatively you may choose to increase your percentage
commission offered to WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION which will give you a significant boost.
Bank Details:
- It is each establishment’s responsibility to make sure that WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION has your correct and up-to-date bank details. These details will be displayed on all confirmation emails sent to you.
- WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION cannot be held responsible for payments made into the incorrect account, should we not be timeously notified of the change.
- In case of ownership change, WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION needs to be notified promptly in order for us to update the details and prevent payment into the old account.
- New bank details or updated bank detail need to be faxed on a company letterhead with the account holders signature and a copy of a cancelled cheque. Should the account be a personal account, the details are requested with an address and ID number.
Chargebacks:
Credit card payments processed by WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION to secure a reservation could be disputed by the
credit card holder, in which case the transaction may be reversed. This is generally known as
a “credit card charge back”.
In the case of WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION receiving a charge back request before the client arrives, you agree to
pay the amount that was transferred to you, back to us within 5 business days.
Should the client have already stayed with you, you agree to provide WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION with any
documentation which might help WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION handle this dispute with the bank. Should you
have an imprint or signed receipt from the customer you agree to make this available to
WIFIXIT ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACCOMMODATION.
